The Garden of Cosmic Speculation – 6 May 2018 Visit

Visited the Garden of Cosmic Speculation on its only day of annual opening this year (Sunday of first May bank holiday). Thoroughly enjoyed it. It’s near to Dumfries in Scotland.

It’s good how you can spiral up and down the peaks without crossing – not obvious how it works until you’ve done it. Based around ideas of fractals and the mathematics of chaos theory. It costs £10 and if driving you have to reserve one of a limited number of car parking spaces. For information see… (refers to 2018, when ticket sales started on 1 February). Work by architect Charles Jencks.

Here’s the short video of my visit.
